Why is CGI important for interior and home design?

Updated: Apr 25, 2022

We are really enjoying working with Sumners Pond to bring their 10 year vision plan to life. We regularly use CGIs to help our clients easily see their vision in advance, or to better communicate ideas that we have.

What does CGI stand for?

CGI stands for Computer-Generated Images which is computer-generated imagery and digital graphics used in visual media, often in the form of 3D animation.

What is CGI in house design?

Computer Generated Images (CGI), also known as 3D rendering, is the process of digitally creating the highest quality, 3D images of interior or exterior spaces. It has become a highly-regarded tool and has transformed the architecture industry.

Why is CGI important for house design?

CGIs have become a vital tool for us to present our design work to clients accurately, which in turn helps projects run more smoothly and communicate ideas succinctly.

We also use CGIs to support planning applications as this is a great way for the council to visualise the finished home or extension much better than a 2D image.

How much do CGIs cost?

Our CGIs start at just £300 and we can add this feature to your planning application drawings.

We can’t wait to continue our relationship and we will keep posting regular CGIs from this project. For now, take a look at this stunning tree house!

If you're planning on using CGIs in one of your projects, you can see more of our work on our dedicated CGI page.
