Lloyd Harden Design was launched in 2020 by Lloyd Harden and has since grown from strength to strength. In four years, the team has since grown to include six more talented professionals, plus an office Dachshund and two new premises!

Most of the Lloyd Harden Design team are located at our head office, a historical converted barn in Lubenham, Market Harborough and we love the projects that our neighbouring districts of Northamptonshire, Rutland, Peterborough and, of course, Leicestershire bring us.

Our mission is to provide honest and exemplary customer service as well as stunning and practical designs. Our team are specialists in planning and we're proud of our success rate.
Our knowledge and understanding of the planning process, for residential, commercial and leisure projects, is strong and we'll guide you through the process of obtaining planning for your specific project.

As well as planning, we are highly skilled designers with an exceptional amount of knowledge and experience in conversions, reconfigurations and renovations.

We've worked on a growing number of house extensions and barn conversions in Leicestershire and Northamptonshire, and the surrounding areas, but serve the whole of the UK depending on the size of the project.
​
No project is too big or small for Lloyd Harden Design. We love working on any project, whether it's a 2m house extension or a 100 lodge park design.

In September 2023, we launched Interiors by Lloyd Harden Design which is located in Kibworth, Leicestershire where the team focus on Interior Design. In 2024, we launched HOME Harborough, a homewares and gifts boutique where we offer Home Decor items and gifts.
Meet the Team
LAURA HARDEN - BSc
Interiors & Operations Director
Laura is responsible for the company operations and keeps everything ticking over. Laura also runs our Interior Design studio and fronts up all Interior Design projects. Out of the office she loves exploring the country/planet, reading and cuddles with her doggo, Edie.
ROSE-MARIE CROOK
Head of Design
Rose-Marie is our Head of Design and brings a huge amount of varied experience to the team. As well as running and inspiring the team, Rose-Marie also runs all Planning and Working Drawings schemes and checks.
LLOYD HARDEN
Managing Director
As well as running the show, Lloyd offers more than 16 years of industry experience in Architecture, Design & CGI artistry. At the office, Lloyd inspires the team and buys the coffees. Outside the office Lloyd loves spending time with his family, walking the dog and playing football.

TOM DRAPER - BA
Senior Leisure Designer
Tom is our Senior Leisure Designer, specialising in site design and Photoshop. Tom has wealth of experience in the leisure industry and assists Lloyd on all Leisure projects. In his spare time, Tom loves a city break and discovering the architectural styles of different countries.
ROSIE GOODWIN - BSc
Architectural Technician
Rosie is our Architectural Technologist. She works on all domestic planning drawings and handles our planning applications, supporting Sophie in our Domestic department. In her spare time, Rosie loves hiking with her family and rock climbing with friends.
WIAN FRITZ
Architectural Technician
Wian has recently joined us as our new Architectural Technician. He brings with him a lot of technical experience and will be a welcome addition to the team! Outside the office Wian loves playing golf, being active and spending as much time as possible outdoors!
KATHERINE MARABELLA
Business Support Administrator
Katherine is our Business Support Administrator. She has a background in Marketing & E-Commerce and Administration, and will be making sure our clients, team and office are taken care of. In her spare time Katherine enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and walking in the countryside with her dog.
ANNA STANWAY-WILLIAMS
Interior Designer
Anna is one of our Interior Designers. With her background in Graphic Design and her recent training in Interior Design, she will be supporting Laura on all Interior Design projects. In her spare time she enjoys yoga and travelling around the UK in her campervan with her husband and dog, Lenny.
EDIE
Head of Security
Edie is our office Dachshund. At just 2 years old, she loves playing, cuddles and treats. At the office she can usually be found sleeping on Sophie's desk. Outside of the office she loves long walks, playing fetch and chasing around her big sister.

Chartered Architect - Contractor
James is our Chartered Architect and consults on our larger projects. He has extensive experience working within the residential, commercial and education development sectors. Outside the office James loves hiking, camping and Jiu Jitsu!
STEVE HESMONDHALGH
Planning Consultant - Contractor
Steve has over 30 years' experience in the planning industry. He has worked in both local government and the private sector.
He has a reputation for providing excellent, commercially astute planning advice. Steve is MD AMS Planning.
