Planning Submitted for House Extension in Northamptonshire

We've been working on an absolutely transformative house extension in Northamptonshire.

The brief was to remove the existing extension and build a much larger side extension/annexe in its place.

We also planned to add a loft conversion with three bedrooms and two bathrooms by also adding a full length dormer at the rear of the property.

Finally, the remodel would consist of relocating the stairs and completely re-designing the downstairs layout.

As you can see from the proposed planning drawings below, we've created a spacious addition in place of the old extension. We created a large entrance area, an open-plan kitchen diner and separate lounge.

Upstairs, we added three good-size bedrooms, one with an ensuite, and a family bathroom.

We moved the stairs to the center of the house which allowed us to open up the house and create more open-plan living.

This amazing transformation has now gone in for planning and we cannot wait to this one built!

We are seeing a huge amount loft loft conversions coming through. Utilising loft space can be a great way to create space in your existing home and dormas are a lot nicer than they used to be!

Post on modern roof dormas is coming next week! Stay tuned!
