We're so pleased to have received planning permission for our lovely clients in Market Harborough.
This lovely little house had already been converted and had rooms in the attic. However, not a lot of care had been taken to ensure that the layout worked. There was a lot of dead space too.
The downstairs area didn't work for the family, as there were a lot of rooms and a lot of walls! Our clients wanted a more open plan lifestyle and a large family room with double doors into the garden.
We moved the stairs, to a more typical position, which enabled us to open up the downstairs but keep the kitchen where it is. Moving the kitchen can often be quite an expense.
We also managed to create a downstairs bedroom with a wet-room ensuite.
As we are adding a dormer to the roof, to improve the layout of the fist floor, we were able to make the space much more useable. We also moved the location of the stairs which also enabled us to fully utilise the space upstairs.
We replaced the two small bedrooms with two double bedrooms, a family bathroom and added plenty of storage.
Our team have created a layout that flows and utilises all areas of the house.
We LOVE the new layout and we can't wait for this lovely family to finally create their dream home!
The next step for this project is to quote for Working Drawings which are the drawings that a builder can accurately quote and build from.
